Find a better way
Innovation is the creation of a viable new offering and we welcome your ideas.
It shouldn't be practised by only a small creative few. Anyone can innovate and at CMR we realise it must be nurtured.
Bias for action
We know your time is valuable. Recognise that 80% of the information is often enough to make decisions.
Many of these are reversible. We will support you to keep moving forward and remember it's ok to fail safely.
Be bold, be humble
It's important to have conviction, strong judgment and good instincts. Speak out when you disagree, even if it's uncomfortable.
However, often overlooked is humility. Accept challenge and don't be afraid to admit when you're wrong. Welcome the learning opportunity.
Learn and be curious
Find what interests you and learning will become second nature.
We encourage and support our people to develop their skills and explore new possibilities.
Diverse together
The differences in who we are, how we think and what we've experienced are one of our greatest strengths here at CMR.
By including everyone, we are able to grow and learn together and better serve our clients.
Be human
A huge proportion of our time is spent at work. We all have the desire to connect, be appreciated and feel useful.
Promote an environment of respect, that supports our mental health and allows people to truly be themselves.
A merit based system
We pride ourselves on having a cultural system where the basis for progression is ability and performance.
These may develop with experience, but we do not view this as a prerequisite.
Ownership
Ownership is a powerful tool. When entrusted to do meaningful work well, we are more likely to perform at our best.
At CMR we reinforce positive accountability to make this happen.
Great is a starting point, not an end point
Our focus on high standards is relentless. Commit yourself and each other to deliver a quality service for our clients.
We are ambitious in what we try to achieve. Setting ourselves goals that are seemingly out of reach inspires us to achieve more than expected.
Our Story
Cooper Moss Rutland is a progressive, dynamic and independent consultancy offering tailored Project Controls solutions across a multitude of industries. With a wealth of diverse experience in hand and a clear vision in mind, CMR intends to change the way Project Controls is provided.
The aim of Project Controls is to provide clarity and direction to projects of all sizes, yet we have seen first-hand that poorly executed Project Controls can result in quite the opposite effect. Whether it be the wrong solution to a problem, a lack of formal tools and techniques or disjointed teams pulling in different directions, CMR has been created to address each of these issues, and more.
Decades of practical and varied controls knowledge form CMR’s foundation. We work closely with our clients and make their objectives our passion. We love nothing more than a challenge and truly believe that integrated Project Controls shouldn’t be a dream but a realistic expectation.
Why Us
Good Project Controls should be accessible to projects and companies of all sizes, but assembling a controls team can be a daunting and costly prospect. The right support doesn’t always come in the form of a full-time standing army. CMR envisages an industry more agile in the way we all demand and supply our services.
We work with both small companies and megaprojects and always design the appropriate solution. Our clients’ goals become our own and we can offer a range of tried and tested templates, tools and how-to guides which can be tailored to any project.
Our experience in working on large programmes has taught us what good project controls should look like, while our time spent working with small companies has taught us to prioritise our efforts to best suit their needs. We have transformed the controls capability for a number of small companies, enabling them to focus on their strengths and successfully deliver their projects.
We are lucky to have a great team of specialists with varying levels of experience and skill sets. We put a lot of effort into handpicking energetic and dedicated people to support your projects. Project Controls is all we do.
Leadership
Our leadership team is collectively responsible for setting and delivering our vision and strategy. They use their extensive experience to ensure we are at the forefront of our industry to provide the optimum project controls solutions for our clients.
